Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Our sizes in centimeters (see below for inches) Due to the high stretch content, if you're inbetween sizes then the fabric can stretch to approximately an extra 2.5cm on the bust and waist. Approximate skirt length is 67-68cm

The Françoise day dress is a is a tribute to finesse, crafted from a sumptuous soft two-way stretch twill fabric that promises a snug, soft & cosy embrace. Its high neck design, inspired by 1950s Parisian elegance, is complemented by a full circle skirt that dances with every step. A matching belt and handy side pockets make this dress a perfect blend of beauty and utility. To create a full on 50s look just pop one of our fluffy 50s style petticoats underneath, as shown in the photos, which is sold separately.
