Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Designed & manufactured in the UK

Summertime romance cut into a dress. This beautiful frock is fully lined with a gathered skirt and bodice section. She has a shirred waist which is flattering for all shapes and features a central tie at the bust. The sleeves have buttoned cuffs and this dress is crafted from a delicate English embroidery.

To add extra volume to the skirt pop one of our fluffy petticoats underneath, which is sold separately.

Care: Machine wash 30 degrees and separately

Lining: 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester

    It’s a nice dress, good quality, it is however tight around the arms, and a lot lighter green then the picture. More like white with a slight green tinge, a lot of items on British retro are a different colour then the picture I’ve found. More like a lighter shade then the picture so something to keep in mind. I like how stretchy it is though.
