We're a proud British-made brand specialising in 1950s vintage-inspired clothing, bringing elegant retro style to wardrobes across the UK and beyond. For over 15 years, we've been causing a mini British invasion in wardrobes worldwide with our unique retro clothing and we ship internationally.

Our garments are made in one of the oldest established factories in the East End of London, and our fabrics and trimmings are sourced from right here in the UK too. We're passionate about supporting local industry and ethical, small-batch British manufacturing.

British Retro's background

A chance meeting between two passionate, like-minded people with a shared love of retro and vintage lifestyle and a combined background in the fashion industry and London's famous Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, is how British Retro was born.
