British Retro operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase goods. A legally binding contract is only formed once we have emailed you to confirm your order has been accepted and payment received.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order at our discretion and will notify you if this occurs. Reasons may include product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or violation of our policies.

4. Our Products

We make every effort to ensure product images, descriptions, and sizing are accurate. However, slight variations in colour or fabric texture may occur due to screen settings, lighting conditions, or batch differences. Product appearance may also differ depending on the device you use to access the store.

All descriptions of products are subject to change at any time without notice at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may limit the quantities we offer to any person, region, or jurisdiction.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price you pay will be the one displayed at checkout when your order is placed. Unless otherwise stated, posted prices do not include shipping, handling, customs, or import charges.

We accept payment via major debit/credit cards and PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. Goods remain the property of British Retro until paid for in full.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment and account information, and to promptly update this information as needed so we can complete your transactions and contact you if required.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders promptly and within the timescales stated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on your location and selected service; we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once we transfer products to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes imposed by their local authorities.

If a delivery is refused or unclaimed and returned to us, you will be responsible for all return postage costs, and we reserve the right to deduct any original shipping costs from your refund.

7. Cancellations & Returns

You have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided you notify us within 14 calendar days of receiving your order and return the item(s) in line with our Returns Policy.

British Retro offers a 28-day return window from the date of receipt. Refunds are only issued if the return is requested within the first 14 days. Returns requested within days 15–28 will be issued store credit only.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 28 days. We will offer a refund, repair, or replacement in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We may require photographic evidence and return of the item before issuing a resolution.

9. Intellectual Property

Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brand names, text, images, graphics, product designs, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by British Retro or our content suppliers and are protected by UK and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent.

British Retro's names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of British Retro or its affiliates or licensors. Shopify's name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Shopify. All other trademarks on the Services belong to their respective owners.

You may be provided with access to tools offered by third parties as part of the Services, which we neither monitor nor control. We provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available," without any warranties or endorsement, and we have no liability arising from your use of them.
