Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Our new Carpe Diem dress is cut from a luxe stretch crepe fabric that gently hugs your body and flows beautifully into a graceful sweeping tail, forming that iconic, classic Hollywood silhouette. With soft chiffon mesh billowing sleeves and cuffs which fasten with three brass-coloured buttons. This dress also looks great with our crystal buckled belt, which is sold separately.

1.“That train will get filthy” We’ve thought of that and made a handy little loop sewn in on the underside of the train for you to pop your finger through and bingo you’re getting to your event unscathed.

2. “You have to be a giant to wear that” Our model here is Kacie and she’s only 5.4 (163cm) but she’s wearing 4” heels and glided around with ease. Also, it’s a really simple dress to be taken up by a good machinist.
