Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Our Tallulah, Autumn/Winter ode to 1950s elegance. Cut from rich black drape crêpe with a comfortable 8% stretch, she has a beautiful weight and flow that carries you gracefully through the cooler months. Her collar and cuffs are finished in real cream crochet, a soft, handcrafted contrast that gives her a timeless, heirloom charm.

The fitted bodice, fastened with fabric-covered buttons, leads to a full circle skirt that falls in soft, elegant folds, and a matching belt defines the waist for that classic 1950s silhouette. Elegant enough for evening, easy enough for daytime, Tallulah is the dress you’ll reach for all season long.

To add extra volume to the skirt section as shown, just pop one of our fluffy black petticoats underneath. The petticoat is sold separately.
