Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Classic denim meets 1950s elegance. Our Tallulah is cut from soft dark denim with 3% stretch, finished with real cream crochet collar and cuffs, a full circle skirt and a matching belt. Relaxed, pretty and beautifully made in the UK.

The fitted bodice and fabric-covered buttons give a neat, ladylike finish, while the full circle skirt falls in generous, graceful folds. The matching denim belt defines the waist for that iconic 1950s hourglass shape. Perfect for autumn and winter days, from weekend adventures to lunches with friends.

To add extra volume to the skirt section as shown, just pop one of our fluffy underneath. The petticoat is sold separately.
