Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Designed & manufactured in the UK

Our timelessly elegant Way Out West front buttoned dress, crafted from this striking Mulberry tartan with a brushed warm feel and all functional brass coloured buttons and matching brass buckled belt. She features half sleeves with nifty buttoned cuffs and a semi-flared collar.  To create a full-on 50s look just pop one of our fluffy black petticoats underneath or wear without for that chic, shirt dress look. Unlike many dressmakers, we have also carefully matched up the checks.

Fabric composition: 74% Polyester, 22% Rayon, 3% Spandex
Care: Machine wash 30 degrees, separately

    The dress is absolutely beautiful. Its even better in person and i loved how the color looked and how soft the fabric was.
    However if you are flat chested, you will notice that the dress will have a lot of room in the top area. But i find that issue would be easily fixed by wearing a padded bra to fill in the room. overall its the perfect dress for the colder months

    The dress is gorgeous! The quality is great, the fabric is neither too thin nor too thick, so you can wear it both on summer and during the colder months. The dress comes with a matching belt that has a lovely buckle and just finishes the look nicely. The colour is slightly darker than on the pictures but still beautiful. I ordered size 10 which turned out to be a little big for me around the waist and chest area, but those little creases around the waist with the belt on only add to the whole retro look. Paired with a pair of round-toed pumps, this gorgeous dress makes me feel petit and feminine. Love it!
    For your reference, my waist is 68cm, bust 88cm.
