Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle. As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style. All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Meet our new Brunswick tartan Way Out West shirt dress. Her rich berry, black and soft camel tartan, with a fine blue thread running through it, is made for cosy winter days and festive evenings. She has an elegant semi-flared 50s collar, half sleeves with neat buttoned cuffs and antique brass buttons all the way down the front. A matching belt with a covered round buckle cinches the waist before the full circle skirt swirls out beautifully.
