2. Contract of Sale

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase goods. A legally binding contract is only formed once we have emailed you to confirm your order has been accepted and payment received.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order at our discretion and will notify you if this occurs. Reasons may include product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or violation of our policies.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you pay will be the one displayed at checkout at the time your order is placed.

We accept payment via major debit/credit cards and PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. Goods remain the property of British Retro until paid for in full.

4. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product images, descriptions, and sizing are accurate. However, slight variations in colour or fabric texture may occur due to screen settings, lighting conditions or batch differences.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders promptly and within the timescales stated at checkout. Delivery times may vary based on your location and selected service.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes imposed by their local authorities.

If a delivery is refused or unclaimed and returned to us, the customer will be responsible for all return postage costs. We reserve the right to deduct any original shipping costs from your refund.

6. Cancellations & Returns

You have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided you notify us within 14 calendar days of receiving your order and return the item(s) in line with our policy.

British Retro offers a 28-day return window from the date of receipt. Refunds are only issued if the return is requested and received within the first 14 days. Returns received between days 15–28 will be issued store credit only.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 28 days. We will offer a refund, repair or replacement in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We may require photographic evidence and return of the item before issuing a resolution.
