Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit

Bust

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.

Waist

Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.

Hips

With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.

Inseam

For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.

As we are an independent and only produce small quantities our sizes vary slightly from style to style.

All garments have been carefully measured, therefore to ensure the very best fit, we suggest taking your own body measurements, whilst wearing light-weight clothing/ underwear and standing up straight, and compare these to our size chart.

Our Tallulah 50s style pencil dress features cute leopard collars, cuffs and a matching belt, which is removable. The bodice section has matching covered buttons which aren’t just for show and can be unfastened, there is also a concealed zip at the back of the dress for smooth fit.

Machine wash 30 degrees and separately.

89% Polyester, 11% Elastane

    This dress is gorgeous a perfect fit – I’m a 12-14 so ordered the 14 and fits like a glove, hugging in all the right places, looks amazing ad feel fantastic wearing it – exactly what I was after material is great with a little stretch and the belt is a fantastic finishing touch – totally recommend British Retro – delivered quickly too looking forward to wearing it this weekend
